  • Repulsion is a deterrent method, not an elimination method
  • Effectiveness depends on pests choosing to leave the area

5.3 Professional Pest Control Alternative

You acknowledge that:

  • For severe infestations, professional pest control services may be more effective
  • Professional exterminators use methods that may include chemicals, traps, or physical removal
  • Shooo products are not a substitute for professional pest control
  • If you have a serious infestation, you should consider consulting a professional pest control service
  • Shooo is not liable for infestation severity or failure to resolve it

6. Conditions for Product Use and Non-Refund Policy

6.1 Conditions of Sale

By purchasing from Shooo, you acknowledge and accept the following conditions:

  1. You have reviewed all product information on shooo.in before purchase
  2. You accept the product as-is with all its limitations and potential ineffectiveness
  3. You assume all risk of product ineffectiveness or inadequate performance

For the device to be effective, you must:

  • Ensure no large furniture blocks the ultrasonic waves

  • Ensure the device is powered on continuously (24/7)
  • Maintain at least 1-2 meters distance from the device for human comfort
  • Avoid placing the device in enclosed cabinets or behind heavy furniture

7.3 Continuous Operation Required

You acknowledge that:

  • The device must operate continuously (24/7) for effectiveness
  • Intermittent or part-time operation reduces effectiveness
  • Leaving the device unplugged for extended periods eliminates effectiveness
  • Turning off the device defeats its purpose
  • You are responsible for ensuring continuous operation

7.4 No Effectiveness Guarantee Even With Proper Setup

Even if you follow all installation and operation instructions perfectly, Shooo does not guarantee that the device will be effective in your circumstances. Proper setup is necessary but not sufficient for effectiveness. Environmental and pest-related factors may still prevent the product from working.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights relating to Shooo, including but not limited to:

  • Any outcome related to pest control or the effectiveness of our devices

18.3 Important Note on Product Ineffectiveness Claims

Please note that complaints regarding product ineffectiveness, poor results, or failure to eliminate pests are not eligible for refunds or returns. These are not considered valid complaints under our refund policy. The Shooo Money Back Promise applies only to non-delivery and damaged delivery of prepaid orders.

18.4 Escalation to Consumer Courts

If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you have the right to escalate your complaint to:

  • District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (claims up to ₹1 crore)
  • State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (claims between ₹1-10 crore)
  • National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (claims exceeding ₹10 crore)

All claims must be filed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Note: Claims based solely on product ineffectiveness are unlikely to succeed in consumer court, as Shooo provides clear disclaimers regarding product effectiveness.

19. Changes to Legal Notice

19.1 Right to Modify

Shooo reserves the right to modify this Legal Notice and all Policies at any time without prior notice. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to the Site.

19.2 Notification of Changes

When we make material changes, we will:
