Overview

Shooo offers a hassle-free purchasing experience with clear policies on returns, refunds, and replacements. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.


1. No Returns or Refunds After Order Placement

Once your order has been placed and confirmed on shooo.in, returns and refunds are not permitted. This applies to all products: Buzz Block, Rodent Block, and Perch Block.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the product specifications, features, pricing, and all relevant information on our website. If you have any doubts or questions about a product before purchasing, please contact us at hi@shooo.in or via WhatsApp before completing your purchase.

Cancellation: Orders can only be cancelled before they are dispatched from our warehouse. Once an order is marked as "Dispatched," cancellation is not possible. Please contact our support team immediately if you wish to cancel your order before dispatch.


2. 6-Month Replacement Warranty for Manufacturing Defects

All Shooo products (Buzz Block, Rodent Block, and Perch Block) come with a 6-month replacement warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects only.

What is Covered Under Warranty

The warranty covers manufacturing defects including, but not limited to:

  • Defective ultrasonic emission system or speakers
  • Non-functional LED indicators
  • Battery or charging issues (Rodent Block and Perch Block only)
  • Solar panel malfunction (Perch Block only)
  • Broken physical components due to manufacturing defects
  • Electronic circuit failures due to manufacturing defects
  • Any component that fails to function as described due to a manufacturing fault

What is NOT Covered Under Warranty

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear from regular use
  • Accidental damage or physical damage from mishandling
  • Water damage or exposure to liquids (unless the product is waterproof as stated in specifications)
  • Damage caused by improper installation or setup
  • Damage from drops, falls, or external impact
  • Damage from electrical surges or power fluctuations (use with appropriate surge protectors)
  • Modification or tampering with the product
  • Use of non-original parts or accessories
  • Improper storage or environmental damage (extreme heat, cold, humidity)
  • Any issue arising from user error or misuse
  • Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or discoloration that do not affect functionality
  • Loss or theft of the product

How to Claim Warranty

To claim warranty service, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email hi@shooo.in or WhatsApp us with your order number, purchase date, and detailed description of the defect with photos if possible.

  2. Provide Documentation: Share your proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) and photos of the defective product.

  3. Assessment: Our team will assess your claim within 3-5 business days. We may request additional information or ask you to perform troubleshooting steps.

  4. Replacement: If the claim is approved, we will ship a replacement unit to you at no cost. You will need to return the defective unit within 7 days of receiving the replacement (using the prepaid shipping label we provide).

  5. Shipping: Replacement products are shipped free of cost within India via standard courier. Delivery typically takes 5-7 business days.

Warranty Claim Timeline

  • Claims must be submitted within 6 months from the date of purchase
  • Claims submitted after 6 months will not be entertained
  • If the product is used beyond the warranty period, any issues will not be covered under this warranty

Multiple Replacements

If a replacement product is found to be defective due to manufacturing defects, we will replace it once more at no cost. However, if multiple defects occur, we reserve the right to refund the original purchase price instead of providing further replacements.


3. Shooo Money Back Promise (Prepaid Orders Only)

Shooo offers a Money Back Promise for prepaid orders only in two specific situations:

Situation 1: Non-Delivery

If your prepaid order is not delivered within the promised delivery timeframe, we will refund 100% of the order amount.

Conditions:

  • This applies to prepaid orders only (credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking, digital wallets)
  • The promised delivery date must have passed by at least 10 business days
  • You must have contacted our support team regarding the non-delivery
  • Our team will investigate with the shipping partner and provide updates

Refund Process:

  1. Contact us at hi@shooo.in with your order number and proof of non-delivery
  2. We will investigate with our logistics partner (KwikShip, Shiprocket, Delhivery, or other courier)
  3. If the package cannot be located or recovered within 10 days, we will initiate a full refund
  4. Refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days

Situation 2: Delivery of Damaged Products

If your prepaid order is delivered in a damaged or non-functional condition, we will refund 100% of the order amount.

Conditions:

  • This applies to prepaid orders only
  • You must report the damage within 24 hours of delivery
  • You must provide photographic or video evidence of the damage
  • The damage must have occurred during shipping, not due to user mishandling

Damage Assessment:

  • External damage (crushed packaging, torn boxes) combined with internal damage to the device
  • Device components visibly broken or dislodged
  • Product completely non-functional upon receipt
  • Liquid damage during shipping (we investigate shipping conditions)

Refund Process:

  1. Document the damage with clear photos or video showing the unopened/opened package and the damaged product
  2. Contact us at hi@shooo.in within 24 hours of delivery with evidence
  3. Do not tamper with or attempt to use the damaged product
  4. Our team will review your claim within 24 hours
  5. If approved, we will either send a replacement or process a full refund (your choice)
  6. You will receive a prepaid shipping label to return the damaged product
  7. Refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days after we receive the damaged product

Note: Partial damage (scratches, minor packaging issues, cosmetic damage) does not qualify under this policy if the product is functional.

Money Back Promise Does NOT Apply To

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders
  • Orders with partial or full payment through other channels
  • Orders where the customer has already used the product extensively
  • Orders where damage is caused by the customer after receipt
  • Orders where the customer has already claimed the manufacturing warranty

4. Return of Defective Products

For Warranty Claims

If your warranty claim is approved for a manufacturing defect, you must return the defective unit within 7 days of receiving the replacement. We will provide a prepaid shipping label for your convenience.

Once we receive and verify your returned product, the warranty claim process is complete.

For Money Back Promise (Damaged on Delivery)

If your claim is approved under the Money Back Promise for a damaged product, you must return the damaged unit using the prepaid shipping label provided within 7 days.

Failure to return the damaged product will result in the refund being cancelled or reversed.


5. Shipping and Delivery Information

Delivery Timeline

  • Standard Delivery: 5-7 business days across India
  • Prepaid Orders: Orders are typically dispatched within 24 hours
  • COD Orders: Orders are typically dispatched within 1-2 business days

Shipping Coverage

We ship to all locations across India including metros, tier 2 cities, and remote areas. Shipping is free for all orders.

Tracking Your Order

You will receive a shipping tracking number via email and SMS. You can track your order in real-time using this number on our website or the courier partner's website.


6. Quality Assurance

All Shooo products undergo rigorous quality testing before dispatch. We ensure that every product reaching you is in perfect working condition and meets our quality standards. However, if you receive a damaged or defective product, please reach out to us immediately.

8. Important Notes

Condition of Return: If you are required to return a product under warranty or the Money Back Promise, the product must be returned in the condition it was received (or as close as possible) with all original packaging and accessories.

Inspection: Upon receipt of a returned product, we will inspect it to verify the claim. If the product shows signs of misuse, tampering, or unauthorized modifications, the return or refund may be rejected.

Refund Timeline: All approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. The refund will be credited to your original payment method. Please allow an additional 2-3 business days for the amount to appear in your bank account, depending on your bank's processing time.

Changes to Policy: Shooo reserves the right to update this Returns & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.


9. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I return a product if I change my mind?
A: No. Once an order is placed and confirmed, returns are not allowed. We recommend reviewing product specifications carefully before placing an order.

Q: Does the warranty cover accidental damage?
A: No. The 6-month warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Accidental damage, water damage, drops, or misuse are not covered.

Q: I placed a prepaid order but haven't received it after 2 weeks. What should I do?
A: Contact us immediately at hi@shooo.in with your order number. If the package cannot be located within 7 days, you are eligible for a full refund under the Shooo Money Back Promise.

Q: What if my product arrives damaged?
A: Report the damage within 24 hours with photographic evidence. If approved, you can choose a replacement or full refund under the Shooo Money Back Promise.

Q: Can I claim warranty after 6 months?
A: No. All warranty claims must be submitted within 6 months of purchase.

Q: Does the Money Back Promise apply to COD orders?
A: No. The Money Back Promise applies to prepaid orders only.

Q: How long does the replacement process take?
A: Once your warranty claim is approved, a replacement is dispatched within 2-3 business days. Delivery typically takes 5-7 business days.


10. Governing Law

This Returns & Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this policy will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
